- The Model 550 Aprilaire can be installed on either the supply
or return plenum of the forced air handling system.
- The Model 550 can be easily reversed for right hand or left
hand installation.
- The unit is 13-1/4" x 12-3/4"x9-1/4". The
dimensions and serviceablity should be considered when selecting
the installation location.
- If the furnace has central cooling, the humidifier bypass
duct must have a damper and the damper should be closed during
the cooling season.
- A floor drain or condensate pump will be required.
