GAS BURNER CONTROLS
PILOT RELITE CONTROL
Pilot Relite Control: 5059 & 5059A
- Ignition control generates spark pulses to ignite pilot gas.
The relite control generates sparks until a pilot flame is sensed
between the electrode and ground., The relite control detects
a flame through "Flame Conduction" (ability of a flame
to conduct a current) when flame current is sensed between the
electrode and pilot burner ground. The relite control stops sparking.
If the flame is extinguished during the heat call, the relite
control will begin sparking the instant the flame goes out.
Lockout Timer: 5022
- Required on systems for LP gas. The control consists of a
warp-switch timer circuit that is wired to the flame sensor.
The function of the lockout timer is to de-energize the gas valve
if a pilot is not established. The lockout timer circuit is de-energized
once the flame sensor transfers to the "Hot" position
and energizes the main valve.
Combination Relite Control and Lockout Timer: 50A22
- Combines in one enclosure the functions of one 5059 and one
5022 controls.
Model 5058 Electronic Ignitor
- This control is a solid state ignition device for use in
the ignition of gas operated heaters, furnaces or appliances.
24, 120 and 240VAC models are available.
